Desde los origenes de la humanidad, tanto construir como cocinar han sido dos actividades básicas y necesarias para el bienestar de las personas. Todos tenemos la necesidad de una casa en la que vivir y un plato caliente que comer todos los días.
Pero una vivienda no es solo una «máquina de habitar«, como un plato no es solo un conjunto de alimentos para sobrevivir.

Ambas comparten el sentido del GUSTO.

GUSTO en Arquitectura es esa sensibilidad que tienen algunos arquitectos para crear espacios únicos, armonía, proporción y la capacidad de hacernos disfrutar con las grandes obras arquitectónicas.

GUSTO en Gastronomía no se refiere únicamente al paladar, es una sensación construida también a través de la reacción olfativa y visual ante los alimentos. la capacidad de apreciar el sabor de los alimentos, como también esa sensibilidad del cocinero por transmitir a través de sus platos armonía, proporción, equilibrio, textura, sabor, creando hoy en día verdaderas obras de arte.

El arquitecto es el encargado de diseñar el espacio de trabajo del cocinero.

Esto no se traduce únicamente en el diseño de un buen equipamiento de cocina y un espacio agradable… sino en establecer ese dialogo entre ambos donde intervienen los cinco sentidos.
Cocinar y Construir son dos actividades paralelas que se basan en lograr la armonía entre proporciones, en dar forma a la combinación de unos elementos, en la apreciación del color, sabor y olor de los materiales, todo ello ligado con un buen tratamiento de los elementos para extraer de ella su máxima expresión: La belleza.
